Down on her luck, Leslie needs a job and is willing to do anything… well almost anything.

Enter Dean and Nolan Wingate. Billionaire brothers looking for the perfect “assistant.” They want a woman they can share, someone that can keep their bed warm, and their office in order.

The second they meet Leslie, they know she’s the one. With a sassy mouth and curvy hips, she’s got them begging for a taste.

But can they convince her to stay and be the woman they both desperately want and need?

  Chapter One

  Leslie

I reread the note; an eviction notice. That was the cherry on the top of the bad things that were happening to me. Not only did my ex leave me, but he left me with fraudulent debts under my name and who knows what else. I tried to be logical here, but I was unsuccessful, to be honest. I had no job and all these debts to pay, including my rent. I loved the place, and I didn't want to be homeless.

I was hungry, and my fridge was almost empty. I took what I had in the pantry and the fridge. Corn and bread. That would have to fill me.

I had money, but I needed to stretch it. Suzie talked to me, wanted to help. I owed money to her also, and I couldn't ask more of her without jeopardizing our friendship. With no parents, both died a couple of years ago, I didn't want to lose the only friend I had.

Suzie told me to hire a private detective and try to locate him and bring him to justice. To make him pay for the debts and prosecute him. She even suggested putting a hit on him. I couldn't if I wanted to--I didn't have the money.

I put my meal on the small table that I had. Our furniture was rented when we came here; he told me we would be able to save money for the house we wanted to buy. Without me knowing it, he was playing cards with the money and didn't have a job whatsoever but made me believe he did.

I didn't know how deep he was until it was too late. Suzie told me about it because apparently one of her bosses was there for a case and saw him. Which one she didn't tell me, but she hired a private detective without telling me, to find out what he was doing.

I didn't believe her at first until she brought a picture of him playing, and he was with other women. Not women like me--they were gorgeous, thin, and blonde. I was the opposite. I was an average woman, with lush curves and dull blonde hair.

I confronted him that night. I told Suzie I was going to get to the bottom of it. Maybe she had a sixth sense because she came in with one of her bosses when my ex-boyfriend hit me. At that point, it was the last time I saw him. Because of him, I lost the good job that I had, and everything escalated. Some debtors even came to my place, some menacing, others giving me notice. Suzie attempted to cheer me up, but it wasn't working. I got the feeling she was onto something.

I strived to stay positive in all this, but how could I? My time was limited since my eviction said I had to pay by the end of the month. If not, I would be out. I still could not believe I was in this situation. You always think that it happens to others, but not to you.

I hadn't had any luck finding a job. I needed one and fast, any kind. I was an excellent assistant, and there was always a need for one. I had a few places to go tomorrow to bring my resumé and hope for the best. I tried to look on the bright side, but that was starting to shatter.

  Leslie

I heard some yelling--the neighbors again. The phone rang, and I ran for it. Who was calling me at this time of the night?

"Yeah, my best friend. How was your day?"

I smiled. She had a sixth sense about my mood. "Not good. I got my eviction notice."

"Oh my god! I thought you had another month before getting that."

I sighed. I thought so too, but apparently, my landlord had other ideas about this place. "I guess both of us were wrong."

"You need me there so that we can chat?"

"No. It's pretty late, and the neighbors are fighting again."

She giggled at this. "I may have a solution."

  "I'm listening."

"My boss knows two lawyers that are in urgent need of an assistant. The last one just left them very promptly without notice."

I was surprised; I didn't know how someone could do this. "Are they so mean that people leave like this? How long she was employed with them?"

Suzie smiled. "As far as I know, a few days. Not more than that."

"But what did they do that made her leave? Are they old, creepy, and slave drivers?" Suzie laughed at me. I was stunned by this. How could this be possible? "Is this a big firm or a tiny one?"

"Wingate and Associates. You know, the one in downtown Montreal. Where I work."

"What?" I choked on my water.

  "Hey, you are okay?"

"Yes, oh my God! The pay should be very good." I heard my friend chuckle a little.

"From what I know, yes. I can arrange something. I know you are in need. And if that doesn't work, you come live with me until we figure something out."

My voice died in my throat; my mind was back to my situation.

  "Leslie, you are there?"

"Yes...I hate that. I don't want to cry."

Suzie sighed. "You listen to me. He was a bastard, leaving you like this with all the debts and maybe more. He can rot in hell if you want my opinion. You deserve better and to be happy. We will find a solution. Don't worry. I've known you for so many years, and you help me with other issues. We need to stick together."

I didn't know how to answer. "Thank you. I don't know what more to say. You have done so much for me. I never knew a friendship could last this long."

That was the truth. I didn't have a lot of friends back in the day. Suzie was always there for me. We'd known each other since elementary school.

"Don't worry. You would do the same for me if the situation was reversed. Oh, wait a second. The second line is coming in."

  I heard the
click in my ears. Who would call her at this time of the night? I looked at the clock. It was ten at night.

I hoped to find an excellent job soon. If not, I didn't know what my future held.

"Sorry about that. Usually, they don't call at that time of the night."

From the way she spoke, it was normal. "Who?"

"My bosses. I've got great news. You're going to have a big interview tomorrow morning at eight thirty." She screamed and was so excited.

"Really? I don't know what I'm going to wear."

Suzie laughed. "Okay, we will be up late. So, try out an outfit and send me a picture. I can't be there, but I will help you the best that I can."

"Awesome. I'll start right now. Man, I'm nervous."

"Hey, don't be. You'll be fine. You're going to love them."

I hung up with her and entered my bedroom. It was showtime, and I needed sleep to be fit for the interview. After a few tryouts, we agreed on a dress. Tomorrow would be the best day.

  Chapter Two

  Dean

It was late, and I should be going home. But since we no longer had an assistant, I needed to do some of the administrative workload. Nolan was already at home. He almost kicked my butt when I said I had to stay a bit later. Even though we lived together and were not identical twin brothers, did that mean he had the right to boss me around? I hoped for a new assistant, but we wanted more from her. We wanted the one, the only one that would fit with us so we would be able to start our lives together.

Nolan had a crush on the last one, but she didn't want anything to do with me. Of course, my brother chose me, and she gave her resignation on the spot, which left the desk empty and full of cases to do. Nolan was faster than me; I didn't have any spark or fireworks with the last one and no one before. But Nolan wanted to try to see where it went.

Now, I told him, we would wait. The priority was the job to be done. We would see how the rest of it went. The buzz of my cell phone took me out of my thinking. It was hidden under a pile of papers, but I was able to locate it.

  "Dean Wingate," I answered.

"Dean, my man, how are you?"

  I smiled. "Hey, Jonathan."

  "How is life going?"

I chuckled. "It could be better, still stuck at the office. Our assistant left us on the spot. I had to stay late to do paperwork."

Jonathan laughed. "Nolan still chasing your goal?"

"Stupid question. Yeah, he's still chasing. We tried, but it didn't work. I knew, but Nolan had other ideas about it."

By the sound of his voice, Jonathan seemed amused. "I don't want to tease you, but we may have found you someone. She's the best friend of our assistant, and she's desperate. Her ex frauded her, and she was left with the debts."

He had my attention. "Is she any good?"

"According to Suzie, yes she's good, even more so than her. Which I doubt, but I think that is better than nothing."

"Maybe, but what do you think?"

"If she wants more? I can't be sure. I know that Suzie knows that most of our group of friends are looking for that kind of family and love life. But only up to a certain point, and we want it to stay like that."

I chuckled. "Still haven't made any moves on Suzie?"

Jonathan sighed. "Simon wanted to do it like right now, but I didn't want to scare her. But since she knows some of our circle of friends, I'm sure she could guess. But for now, I'm dying because each time I see her, I'm hard."

I laughed about it. It'd been six months since they hired Suzie. I was pretty sure she knew more about it. Jonathan wanted it all but was willing to wait for it. It would be funny to watch because that was not the case for Simon.

"So, do you want to meet her?"

"Yes, if she can help at least for paperwork first. For the rest, we will see. Can you tell me, how does she look?"

"I knew you would ask me that. I've never met her. But Simon did once. He said that she's all woman, with curves in the right places."

"I guess she looks like Suzie somewhat."

"Yes, oh my god! Just thinking of Suzie and my pants are tighter."

I started to snicker. Both of them were doomed. "You should do something. Stop killing yourself."

"Perhaps. We shall see. I'm starting to think she's up to something. She's more distant from us. I tried to understand, but you know that woman is hard to read sometimes."

"Sure, my friend, but I think you should stop analyzing and go for it. So, what's her name?"

"Maybe or maybe not, we will wait and see. Her name is Leslie Anderson. I will text you the time for tomorrow later on."

"Thanks. And do something about that boner because it's not going to go down."

"I will let you go, man. I'll think about it. So, keep me posted on tomorrow. I'm curious."

I smirked. He was always the talkative one. "Yes, no problem and thanks. Bye."

I continued to work, and my phone buzzed again. I looked and saw the appointment was made for tomorrow at eight thirty. I texted Nolan, confirming I was coming home to sleep and be ready for tomorrow.

  Nolan

After receiving the text from Dean that said Jonathan got us a new assistant, I was thrilled. I hated paperwork, and I dared hope she could be the one.

"Stop pacing. You're the boss. This is not a high school dance."

I smiled at Dean. You definitely knew where he stood. That's why he was the best in closing deals and conducting court sessions.

"Well, if Jonathan gave us the reference, she could be the one."

"We talked about this last night. Stop it. She may or may not be, but first, we need an assistant to help us. After, we will see how things go."

We were in the conference room. The receptionist would buzz us when she arrived. Dean would be the one to fetch her, and I'd be the one to start to interview. We didn't use the big boardroom; it's too big and has windows all around. We would use the small one, which was more private for this kind of thing. Our office was too far away from reception, and it was less soundproof.

The conference phone rang, and Dean picked it up. I knew she was here. Dean hung up and left the room and headed to introduce himself.

"Please enter. My partner is waiting for us," Dean said.

I stood when she entered. She seemed a bit shy. She looked at Dean, and then she turned around to look at me. Her mouth opened and closed.

She had curves to kill, all lush. Perfect for grabbing without crushing her. Her long, blonde, curly hair and her amber eyes were stunning.

"Hi, Leslie. I'm Nolan, his partner and twin brother."

Dean closed the door; I saw that he was hot for her. He didn't hide the fact that his dick was awake the same as mine.

  "Twin?"

  "Not identical," Dean responded.

She nodded and sat in front of us. She blushed a little, and it made her more appealing.

"Thank you for giving me this chance and a swift appointment. I appreciate it."

I smiled at this. I remembered Dean told me she was desperate, like us, but for a different reason. I didn't have to look at my brother to know he was interested in her. Not only for the job but for more. I think that was the first time that both of us agreed on something.

"We appreciate your flexibility to see us on short notice. So, as I was told, you have experience in this?"

She played with her finger; I knew she was nervous. Not only that, her nipples were erect all of a sudden. I wondered what she was thinking. I guess we had an effect on her.

"Yes, I do. I lost my job a couple of weeks ago. The company closed due to a lack of control and management. But I have my written reference if you need it."

I glared at my brother. I knew what he was thinking. He nodded at me, agreeing to my plan. I loved being a twin--that link was unique.

"Jonathan called us about you. Suzie gave him an excellent description of your resumé, and we can see that you are right for the job."

"Oh! I've never met him. I know him because Suzie talks
about them and her work. I'm grateful for his reference."

She stopped playing with her finger, but she started to play with her saddle bag. Her body was telling us what she wanted.

"Sorry to ask this question, but do you have family responsibilities?" I asked.

"No, I'm single, but why do you ask?"

"Because sometimes cases could lead to overtime when you have a big law firm like ours. You could do a lot, but don't worry, we will compensate," Dean responded in my place.

"I don't mind hard work. I'm a good worker. I hope you'll give me that chance."

I glanced at Dean. We agreed; she was the one. We just needed to show her and claim her for ourselves.

  Chapter Three

  Leslie

I didn't know where to look. Not one but both were gorgeous. While I waited at reception, I saw him arrive, and I just drooled. I looked at his finger--no ring. Nothing was there, not even a mark. I'm sure he has a girlfriend, probably gorgeous like he was.

"Miss Anderson?" he asked with his deep, sexy voice. I totally melted. I tried to regain my composure but was unable to. I hoped he didn't notice it.

"Yes." I rose from the couch I was sitting on.

He raised his hand, and I took it. "Happy you came." I was mesmerized by those eyes, the color ice blue. I tried to identify the emotion inside them. They were like a big sea of chaos.

"Me too." He was tall, much taller than me. I would say he was six feet two or three. Built like a wall, a strong wall, one that you can rely on or lean on it. His three-piece suit revealed enough of his build. His energy was surrounding me like a blanket.
